A photo of 13 High Elf miniatures. At the front are three Sisters of Avelorn, with magical bows; behind them are a kitbashed and converted Battle Standard Bearer and four 3D printed versions of the 5th Edition Maiden Guard, with added shields; at the rear are five 3D printed Maiden Guard stand-ins. The Elves are all wearing white tunics with green cloaks, green shields, blue-tinted silver armour and blades, and coppery-brown dark skin with black hair. They have gold accents on their armour. The Battle Standard Bearer, whose name is Finelle, has a red feather on her helm, and her banner shows an image of the Elven goddess Isha, with two runes above her. Isha wears white, with black hair and the same skin tone as the Elves. A single golden tear rolls down her cheek as she contemplates a bleeding heart.

I finished off a bunch of Maiden Guard to add to my Escalation League! Particularly proud of the freehanded banner.

A photo of two Games Workshop Maiden Guard. Both are converted. The one on the right has had her arms cut off at the elbows and replaced, changing her spear and sword for a shield and sword. Her high ponytail or topknot has been cut off. The one on the left has had her upper left arm replaced with one waving forwards, as if she is ordering an advance of her troops. Both elves have copper-brown skin, black hair, and wear white tunics with green cloaks. They have silver armour with gold details and lots of rubies, many in the shape of a stylised heart. The shield carried by the one on the right is a tall kite shield in grass green with a large heart-shaped ruby on the boss. Both have bows and arrows in special quivers slung on their backs. Their names - Taliaenne and Aeilliniarie - are painted in white on their base rims.

A photo of ten High Elf women from the Maiden Guard of the Everqueen. They wear white tunics with green cloaks and sashes, and carry long white spears with long, sword-like points. Their shields are long grass green kite shields with a moon-shaped cutout on the right hand side for the spear to slot through, and carry a heart-shaped ruby as the boss. Their skin is a dark coppery brown, and their hair is jet black. Gold and rubies decorate their blue-tinted mithril armour. The musician carries a huge pink conch shell horn, and the unit is led by a champion wielding a sword in her left hand and her spear in her right. Her name is Raliemne. The unit is accompanied by a hero wearing heavier armour and carrying a massive magical hand and a half sword. Her name is Aeilliniarie.
