A photo of ten High Elf women from the Maiden Guard of the Everqueen. They wear white tunics with green cloaks and sashes, and carry long white spears with long, sword-like points. Their shields are long grass green kite shields with a moon-shaped cutout on the right hand side for the spear to slot through, and carry a heart-shaped ruby as the boss. Their skin is a dark coppery brown, and their hair is jet black. Gold and rubies decorate their blue-tinted mithril armour. The musician carries a huge pink conch shell horn, and the unit is led by a champion wielding a sword in her left hand and her spear in her right. Her name is Raliemne. The unit is accompanied by a hero wearing heavier armour and carrying a massive magical hand and a half sword. Her name is Aeilliniarie.

A photo of two Scrungaloids. They look like GW RTB01 beaky marines. They are both posed as if scratching their helmeted heads while looking down at their raised left leg. They hold a boltgun in their left hands. On the left is one called Brother Greg, painted like a Crimson Fist: dark blue with a red lower left arm and hand. A white number 3 is visible on his left kneepad, and on the corner of his right shoulderpad is a small white arrow pointing upwards. On the right is one called Brother Pax, painted like a Minotaur from the famous colour spread of Badab War Chapters: yellow and red dazzle pattern with a dark gunmetal backpack. Visible on his left shoulderpad is a small white skull. The words LUV and HATE are painted on his kneepads. On his right shoulderpad are a tactical symbol and a small number 7, both in black.

The Command Lance from the Inner Sphere mercenary unit, MacLeod’s Light Horse. It consists of an 85 ton Stalker 3H, a 90 ton Cyclops 10-Z, a 90 ton Highlander 732B and a 100 ton King Crab. They are all painted in a rich dark green with various designs - the Cyclops’ cockpit is painted to look like a giant staring eye, the Highlander has a monstrous mouth on its chest, and the King Crab has a skull and crossbones on its upper surface as well as a terrifying mouth painted around its cockpit. They are worn and dirty, with filth encrusting their lower legs up to the knees.

A photo of four 3D printed Battlemechs in 1:285 scale. Left to right, they are a Stalker, a Black Knight, and two Orions. They are painted in British Racing Green with various details in steel. The Black Knight has a white stripe in the middle of its head, the two Orions different grinning monster mouths and eyes on their torsos. Their lower legs are filthy with muck and grime. The bases have the ranks and callsigns of the pilots on (Colonel “Mama Bear”, Captain “Goat”, Company Sergeant Major “Mags” and Sergeant “Behemoth”).

These aren’t newly painted but they are newly based. Back on my Battletech nonsense for a bit I think.

A photo of a 3D printed 1:285 scale Stalker assault battlemech for Battletech games. It is painted white on its right hand side and the remaining two thirds of the mech is a dark blue. Red missile tips stand out from the paint while its legs are filthy, covered in mud, dust, and grime kicked up by its passage through the countryside and bodies of water. It is posed mid-stride, its left foot raised and its torso swivelled to the right, as if tracking a target.

I finished a STK-3H in Lyran Guards colours yesterday - my first mini in my new home. Eventually when I get transfers this will be from the “Saucy Sixth” 6th Lyran Guards.
