Oversee the end-to-end operations of the accounts payable process, including invoice processing, payment runs, and expense report management. Ensure all payments are processed accurately, in a timely manner, and in compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements. Review and approve large or complex invoices and payments. Confirm receipt of incoming payments and proper bookkeeping coding. Enforce accounts payable and receivable policies and procedures. Participate in monthly accounts payable meetings to review and process payments. Troubleshoot payment platform issues, including managing dispute resolution processes with banks and platforms Coordinate with the bookkeeper to ensure transactions are properly documented and recorded in QuickBooks.

Slide 3: It reads: Vendor Management. Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers. Resolve escalated vendor issues, discrepancies, or disputes effectively and professionally. Ensure accurate vendor records, including banking information and tax documents (e.g., W-9s). Compliance and Internal Controls: Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including sales/use tax and 1099 reporting requirements. Maintain proper documentation for all financial transactions. QUALIFICATIONS. Education: Associate's degree or equivalent experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or a related field.

Slide 4: It reads: Required Knowledge. Basic understanding of non-profit accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax compliance. Proficient in the use of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and payment platforms (e.g., Wise, PayPal). Advanced Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets skills. Experience: Proven experience in accounts payable, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. Experience processing domestic and international payments preferred.Non-profit experience preferred but not required. Skills & Abilities. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise independently.
