This is a photo of the HunterFly houses founded in 1838 Landmarked in 1970 by the National Register of Historic Places. They are located in the Bedford Stuyvesant section of Brooklyn NEW YORK, they’re some of the last surviving free Black-owned residences from the 19th century in New York City. The houses were built between the 1840s and 1880s along what was once Hunterfly Road, an old Native American path that later became a colonial roadway.
