She's being very arch, but she's essentially saying that she's not fooled, if in fact Bond is even trying to fool anyone at MI6 about his proclivities, but there's a place for this kind of cold-blooded sharkery in the clandestine services, and she's going to help him achieve great things, even though he's barely human, if at all.

M gets who #Bond is. As we've discussed, he's a mostly-blank, murderous, shark-person (kind of like a #horrorvillain for terrorists; a Michael Myers type), and M is hinting that she sees Bond.

Probably the best thing about The House by the Cemetery is I now have a "new" favourite villain. Dr Freudstein is an undead serial killer that prolongs his life using body parts from his victims. Rob Zombie is said to have partly based Dr Satan on him.
