the house harms christmas. complete with the hangman and FIRE.

a sad, tiny looking tree with homemade garland is our labubu xmas tree. each labubu (except the rat twins - their gifts will be LATE.) have one gift. kiddo's bestie boo-boo has TWO gifts, but he has a christmas gift of more friends. shhhhhh. so not ALL of it is boo-boo's!

santa showed up to #househarms! it was looking dicey for a bit, but he showed up. i hope he's been good to us this year!

p.s. the bubus have their own xmas tree! they were NOT getting left out! but i DID forget the rat twins. their stuff will come in the new year!

spaghetti, meatballs, and breadsticks. beat thanksgiving meal.

PASTAGIVING from earlier. here at #househarms, we don't do turkey. mainly because cooking turkey dinner takes a LOT of spoons. so we do things different!.

this year was PASTA. ALL THE PASTA. spaghetti because my grandpa used to make spaghetti for me every thanksgiving when i was a kid.

at least we don't! at #househarms, we do thanksgiving our way, which usually involves giant pots of pasta, riffed movies, and general laziness.

(partially thanks to thanksgiving holding awful mwmories of my dad dying, and his family immediately disowning me becauae of dad being dead.)

one year, my co-worker (who was an aspiring baker) made me this UH-MAY-ZINGGGGGGGGLY DECADANT chocolate cake with andes' inspired chocolate mint frosting and it was amazingly good. best cake i had. (also had mint-infused chocolate chips.

as a parent with a kiddo that has a super early bedtime, early PPVs are SO welcomed here at #househarms because instead of him missing three hours of the show, we can watch together and he can go to bed happy!

he is EIGHT years old today! he got lobster treats, a new wand toy, and lots of cuddles. he's our dumpster-obsessed bionic weirdie and we love him SO MUCH! this year marks SEVEN YEARS since #househarms adopted him. we love our giant hairy baby!

but i do have sadness. this year has been the year of GIANT CHANGE with leaving meta, taking care of my health, and surviving a ROUGH government administration that is against us, but in spite of all that, #househarms is HERE.

it's a #househarms fave for EVERYTHING! the all-star squad, the cast, and the plot. and it's so cheesy, but i love it.
