I’ve been on #PrEP since 2018, but so few Black women know about it. I’ve watched as #HIV rates have dramatically increased in cishet Black women in 🇺🇸 in that same time, BC other 🇺🇸 demos know abt PrEP.

I genuinely believe *most* of us should be on it!

Today is HIV is Not a Crime Awareness Day! #HIV criminalization laws deter ppl from testing + treating, yet 2/3 of US states got 'em. Such laws ignore how HIV treatment (ART) & prevention ( #PrEP) meds reduce transmission! #HIVIsNotACrime #IAmHIVPossible #HINACDay

HIV prevention modalities ( #hivmeds #PrEP & #PEP) are our best line of defense, & the White House neither cares nor wishes to continue containing #HIV in the US or abroad.

Some of the easiest ways to honor the memory, legacy, and fight of so many #HIV #AIDS activists before us, is to seriously use the biomedical interventions we have like #PrEP, offer constant free testing, & to speak honestly about how it impacts EVERYONE.

Did you know there’s a daily pill or bimonthly injection you can take to reduce your risk of acquiring #HIV? It’s called #PrEP and I’ve been on it since 2017 or 18. Can’t remember. lol. But I highly recommend.
