Can’t recall who at #ica22 made the joke that the travel security alerts universities send saying to avoid areas affected by protest are a good way to build an itinerary of not to miss events, but I’m still chuckling so thanks for that.

I am still in France b/c my next stop after #ica22 is @AFEA_France to give a keynote which will now be virtual from my little quarantine hotel room. I’m down (and freaked) about this but ok. Grateful to be able to manage the rescheduling in travel and especially to be vaccinated.
I wore a KN95 mask for all indoor activities and was particularly cautious to skip indoor events like dinners. But we know masking wasn’t at 100, attending was a risk, and this virus is highly contagious. Please test if you haven’t yet to protect others in your community #ica22
Hey #ica22 friends, I tested positive 24hrs after the conference ended despite negative tests everyday during. I hope @icahdq will collect data on post-conference infection rate as those of us who were around on the final days are well within incubation period #icacovidsafe
