ICE showing up with Scarborough PD following 911 calls? A white, American-born friend called 911 over a medical emergency involving a family member. A few minutes later, Scarborough PD showed up along with ICE agents claiming they had a warrant for her arrest. She was held at the detention center for five days before being released to the Sheriff who then let her go bwcause they saw no reason to hold her. While in detainment, she spoke to the only other caucasian in custody who gave a similar story. He was let go only to be detained again a day later. No explanation was given. I'm really confused. Are the Nazis just running out of black and brown people to arrest? Why did they show up following a 911 call? Does anyone know what any of that was about?? She's currently hiding out, and ICE was reported to have gone back looking for her.

Westbrook community members form a human wall to keep local workers safe from ICE At apparel manufacturer American Roots in Westbrook, staff and community volunteers are trying to protect immigrant workers by standing watch as they arrive and leave for the day.
