It’s not clear whether the ‘not explicitly stated in the recommendations’ items in this Guidance Notice are going to be added to the actual #ICMJE Recommendations.
Can any ICMJE member provide clarification? It would be helpful for citation when dealing with requests for actions to manuscripts.
The #ICMJE is highlighting its guidance relevant to journals’ responses to requests to withdraw, revise, or alter authorship of manuscripts.
Note that ‘While not explicitly stated in the recommendations’ is mentioned twice.
