#ICOS2024SC closes with a nice study on atmospheric CO2 and its sources above the Netherlands. It's been a really enjoyable and interesting week especially for a modeller! Thanks to the organisers and to Versailles for hosting us. 🌊

I probably should already know this but fascinating to hear from Karol Kulinski at #ICOS2024SC about how #Alkalinity in the #BalticSea is increasing (and maybe *why*), and actually countering #OceanAcidification. 🌊
Great talk from Emma Schoenmakers at #ICOS2024SC on building city-scale emissions maps, and how these are now within reach for cities that have hitherto lacked the infrastructure to provide this level of understanding. 🌊
Interesting (in context of city-scale CO2 emissions at #ICOS2024SC) to hear of privacy concerns in selecting the scale of data collection. Somewhat understandable, but feels like a loophole I can imagine emitters being keen on. 🌊
