After 10 days of talks in Geneva — more than 2,600 participants, including over 1,400 member delegates from 183 countries, and observers representing over 400 organizations — ended without agreement.
Business as usual is no longer an option.

As the sun rises over Mont Blanc, disappointment in the #PlasticsTreaty plenary hall: The negotiations have failed again. But after last-minute late-night drafts that were definitely not going to help solve #plasticpollution, no treaty is better than a weak treaty. Time to head home.
