Interesting paper on estimating bond returns using graph neural networks at #informs2023. It turns the institutional bond holding into a network and develops a Temporal Bipartite Graph Neural Network (TBGNN) model to capture valuable information from connections for bond pricing.
Interesting study by TUDelft presented at #informs2023 on airline network planning considering climate impact. #climate #orms ISO on the slide refers to introducing intermediate stopovers, FL stands for flying low. Both interventions could help mitigating climate impact.
Interesting talk on eVTOLs (Electric Vertical Takeoff and Landing) at #INFORMS2023. eVTOLs are not expected to replace an existing mode of transportation, rather, they are expected to provide a new service called urban air mobility (UAM). The authors simulate energy consumption.
