Rounding out the session is Stu Lacy. He is presenting a paper discussing the intersection between social structure and individual experiences in producing decisions to identify with the incel community and associated male supremacist ideology. #IRMS2025
Our third panelist is Allysa Czerwinsky. Her presentation explores how identity-based harm manifests in the wider incelosphere, accounting for both the individual and group level impacts of male supremacist rhetoric. #IRMS2025

Next, Fuller presents their research on the biopolitics enforced through cis-heteropatriarchy in the subreddit R/Detrans. They illustrate the weaponised narratives and moral panics created around ‘gender ideology’, and investigate the increase of anti-trans bills from 2021-2025. #IRMS2025
We start off this panel with a presentation by Hoàng-Xuân, who presents her research on how white supremacy is embedded in male supremacy, through its reinforcement of Western masculinity and the white gaze. #IRMS2025
