At #ISBF8 (or was it 7?),we had a side event on exactly this, the interface between Mixed-Ferm / Sours and low intervention Cider.
Also worth occasionally checking North Riding & Tom's Tap.
We did a WC tasting at #ISBF8 and had Andy (Elusive), Stu (North Riding) & Sean (Tom's Tap.)
3 different approaches, Sean's being maltiest & most bitter.
