A metal sculpture is framed by two dark trees on each side. The sculpture is metal bars bent and shaped and welded together to form the shape of a raven with its wings outstretched, about to take off. It stands on a large rock, with the open blue sky behind it.

The wolf on the left is facing away from the camera, looking east over the land. The wolf on the right is standing sideways to the camera, looking off to the right over the land.

Since it’s cold and the snow is gross and dirty here, have some nicer views than I’ve got.
These sculptures are all on Terrace mountain overlooking the Skeena river.

A brown, juvenile bald eagle fills the center of the image, flying to the left. Its wings are spread wide, the tips of the feathers just starting to curve as the wings start a downstroke. Behind the eagle, out of focus in the distance, is a mostly evergreen forest with a few golden yellow deciduous trees mixed in.

A brown, juvenile bald eagle fills the center of the image, flying to the left. Its wings are halfway into a downstroke. You can see the top of the wing closest to the camera, and you can see each of the long primary feathers, and the smaller feathers above them. You can see all the primary feathers on the underside of the other wing, backlit by the sun. A brown, juvenile bald eagle fills the center of the image, flying to the left. Its wings are lifted above its body, in the upstroke. You can see all the different white sections on the underside of the wing and on the body. You can also see all the different kinds of feathers in each section of the wing. You can also see the sharp hook of its beak. Behind the eagle, out of focus, is a few golden yellow deciduous trees in front of an evergreen forest that’s further away. A mature bald eagle is sitting in one of the yellow trees, very small and out of focus, near the main eagles tail.

I also lucked out, thanks to my sometimes not very bright dog, in getting a few shots of a juvenile bald eagle flying fairly close to me. #inaccessibleviews #kitsumkalum #exploreBC #exploreTerrace

In the center of the image, a mature bald eagle sits in a leafless deciduous tree. The eagle is staring directly into the camera, definitely judging the photographer. The sky behind the tree is blue and there are lots of twigs and small branches around, behind, and in front of the eagle.

A deciduous tree with a few golden leaves fills the right side of the image, the sky behind is a dark ominous grey. A mature bald eagle sits in the tree on the right side, looking off to the left side of the photo. The eagle and the leaves are lit up beautifully in the short few moments of a break in the clouds.

The eagles have been right there, judging us and looking mildly annoyed at the dogs, every time we go to Kitsumkalum lake. So I’ve gotten some pretty cool photos of them. #inaccessibleviews #kitsumkalum #exploreBC #ExploreTerrace
