You can see all the primary feathers on the underside of the other wing, backlit by the sun. Behind the eagle, out of focus in the distance, is a mostly evergreen forest with a few golden yellow deciduous trees mixed in.

A mature bald eagle is sitting in one of the yellow trees, very small and out of focus, near the main eagles tail.
