A glance at some of the dancers at Indian Steps this weekend. Folks were playing instruments, singing and dancing for a good portion of the time. Some craft and food vendors but in general people just there relaxing and enjoying the festival

Color photograph of the northern side of the Indian Steps Cabin/museum building; constructed back in 1912 by John Edward Vandersloot, a York, PA attorney who enjoyed hunting, fishing and discovering ancient artifacts along the Susquehanna River, and wanted somewhere to house and preserve them. Blue sky above flecked with white high cloud, and the building, a mix of wood/cabin and stone construction, with the second floor finished in a yellow paint and a stone and wood third/fourth floor tower. The top of a teepee can be seen in the bottom left; and on a two sides trees, with leaves floating on the breeze. The music, company and food was good; the weather was warm, and the waters too, but the breeze, branches and leaves around the Indian Steps cabin were reminder that summer's days were numbered.
