a new technical addition to the engine: texture atlas editing
rather than manually stitching textures together in Photoshop and then mapping them in data, I built a tool to make it super easy. changes take effect immediately in-game (watch the left toolbar)

Adding a save system to your game is simple but tricky. You're just saving a JSON in a text file, but then you have to take into account what to save, how to load it correctly, how does it interact with other systems, etc.
