Small abstract painting, square. Predominant colors are black, grey, and shades of red with a very light grey wash also used. Accent colors include yellow, purple, and white. The right side is a black block, center is light grey narrow vertical block, and left side is large grey block. Painted over these at the top are red and purple shades in different fluid shapes. There is a yellow diagonal shape over the black at the botton right. Various white curved forms appear in the top half. A small black U-shape appears at lower left.

Abstract acrylic painting, portrait orientation. Light beige wash background with four forms. Small red circle top right area, small black wash bug or bell shape lower left, and in the other corners, black wash snake-like forms in different curving shapes. These curving lines were painted wet on wet, and this appears as kind of like short tendrils coming out from the lines all along the edges where the paint bled into the underlying wash. The overall feel ended up being almost Zen. It was painted without any planning in automatic or intuitive type of technique except where care was taken on the red circle. Two grey-black vertical dashes are in the lower right corner to indicate the number two.
