Screenshot of Inkscape. It shows "reference" images of the traditional shields along side custom versions I made in both light mode and dark mode. Some of the colors on the old shields no longer matched the brand, and I took this opportunity to make them feel more tailored for each site they link to. In this case I did mastodon, codeberg, gitlab, and stack overflow. The mastodon one has the icon for my home server.
A screenshot of my GitHub profile. It has the new shields, or badges, or whatever they're called. They're just image links to mastodon, codeberg, gitlab, and stack overflow. Below that is my new "stats card." This is a custom stats card I made using data across codeberg, gitlab, and github. It has the usual stats, but it's neat to see that about 40% of my commits are on GitHub, 50% on GitLab, and 10% on Codeberg.
The project I use to show GitHub stats on my profile stopped working. I decided to make my own, and in the process also made custom "shields" for the profile links.
