This is the illustration for a short story I wrote titled “Old Man’s Creek”. It is very special, it is inspired by an actual place from my father’s childhood town, about a creek where all the kids were afraid to walk by, especially at night.

I think my art block is gone. Sketched and inked these today, working off of the Elf from the quoted post, whom I have decided is named Ariel. It feels good to actually draw again.

An inked drawing of a cave dwelling creature. Having no legs, they instead use the mana crystals they collect for drifting around. This one has three strands of four crystals with another one embedded on their top region. Drawn January 14 2022.
Looking through old sketchbooks, I come across this interesting fellow. A cave floater, they use the mana crystals they collect for food and as mating materials. They usually float on errant magical currents for transport.

Being in the deep dark woods is no place for two little fauns... When out in the woods, Bramble found a little faun girl alone next to a burnt down hut. Telling of an unfortunate event that had taken place with the mute girl's family. Unable to leave her there, Bramble has decided to take her back home... hopefully before anything in the night does. Edited the background due to running outta ink in 1 corner. The warped effect looked cool so I added more of it in. :P
