It’s #InternationalDayofDisabledPeople today and I attended an important event in the Senedd focused on disabled people, their needs and the organisations that support them.

It was great to meet with Scope in Parliament and celebrate the contributions and achievements of the 17,536 disabled people in Southgate and Wood Green.

While @brighton-hove.gov.uk adopted an #AccessibleCity strategy last year, there's been little progress on simple things like removing bollards on narrow footways. & then a diversion sign has made it even more difficult for wheelchair users & other #Disabled people. #InternationalDayOfDisabledPeople
