The sky glows orange, the fades to blue as the sun disappears behind desert foothills.
Caught a few lovely (but low-res) shots while at a stoplight light on Carefree Highway last weekend.

In the Gloaming/Electric Blue 1/2. Looking down a street after sunset with the moon rising in the background through the clouds. At the street level, the street light casts an orange-red glow into a few of the trees and homes toward the bottom of the shot. Just above the tree line, the sky is a bright electric blue-purple with streaks of orange and hot pink clouds fading into lavender and softer shades of pink and lavender toward the top of the frame. When I look at these photos, I can hear "Electric Blue," by Icehouse. Synesthesia is fun.
In the Gloaming/Electric Blue 2/2. Similar to the first shot, but framed a bit differently showing a headlight flaring out of the bottom left corner of the frame. Just above the tree line, the sky is a bright electric blue-purple with streaks of orange and hot pink, clouds fading into lavender and softer shades of pink and grey. When I look at these photos, i can hear the song, "Electric Blue," by Icehouse instead of my internal monologue. And I'm not mad about it.
