This is inspired by the Irish tradition of putting a candle in the window on Christmas Eve, a sign to the needy of an open door & food on the table. Then exploring in the 2nd stanza how a once hospitable nation has become less welcoming to strangers

At last, my train station gets what it's always needed - a coffee van. ☕️ 🍩🍪.

So, on a day when fascist numpties try to shut down the city centre in protest about immigrants, a charming Indian entrepreneur opens a great new service to make our days that little bit better.
