Beautiful as a desert rose but deadly as the bladed winds of a sandstorm, the Bladedancers of the Houri Sisterhood are the Iron Sultanate’s finest all-female warrior-assassins. Originally a subsect of the Order of Assassins, these warrioresses strike their foes with unimaginable speeds. Similarly to the Christians’ Stigmatic Nuns, the Houri do not wear much in terms clothing or armor (much to the ire of many clerics). But unlike the Nuns who need to expose themselves to receive pain to strengthen their power, the Houri need to be bare for clothes and armor would impede the airflow of their abilities. As stated by their names, Bladedancers moved in quick but graceful motions as if they are dancing. Through the eyes of their enemies, the movement seemed like teleportation. This form of movement is called the Buraq Way. To achieve this ability, Bladedancers not only have to rigorously train their bodies to be quick and dexterous, but also alchemically enhance their bodies with a mysterious potion known as the Water of Jannah. The alchemical origin and process of this potion is a close guard secret only to the Houri. But one thing is known is that the potion itself is highly lethal to all living things, for even one drop can kill a Lion of Jabir, and theoretically, an Arch-Shaitan. Originally, there were five hundred initiates, all survived the training. Only seventy-two survived the Water.
