Beautiful walk in the early sun. Loads of wildlife: 2 roe deer and a further 4 later on, a couple of pheasant, yellowhammers, a buzzard and a kestrel.
Tawny owl visited the nest box again yesterday too, dropping off its breakfast at 0630, picking it up again at 1730

Toni the #TawnyOwl is back, using the owl nest box as a convenient pantry again, dropping off its catch before dawn and collecting it again this evening. Those eyes! 👀

#NotAnOwl update: #ItsAnOwl! Having this year hosted a family of squirrels and three broods of pigeons 🙄, finally a second visit from a #TawnyOwl
Intriguingly, like last time, it deposited its freshly caught prey in the nest box around 5am, left it there and came back for it at 9pm
