由於2026年將實施跨年制，所以在26/27賽季前會舉辦一個過渡賽制的特別賽事，重點如下：

J1🔽
✅20隊／總共200場比賽
✅按地區分為東西區常規賽
✅每隊在區內進行18場主客比賽
✅常規賽不設賽和，若賽和以互射十二碼決勝
PK戰勝方獲2分，負方獲1分
✅季後賽舉行東西區相同排名的總排名賽，兩回合主客制，總比數賽和進行加時，最後PK戰決勝
✅不設降班制
✅冠軍球隊可獲得亞冠精英賽2026/27資格
✅每獲1分和最終排名總計撥出12億日元獎金
