Stella touched up her make up and then stepped back to take a look at herself. She was wearing a knee-length brown denim skirt with yellow and orange stitching and a sunrise orange blouse. She wore a pair of orange boots styled as cowboy boots, but with flat heels for comfortable walking. "Okay, okay... looks good," she said, then thought about it. "I may need to diversify my outfits a bit. This is basically just my normal orange shirt and blue jeans with the drama slider set up to max." She reached up to her braids and slowly undid one. "Braids... or loose?" Thick white line with the words "SKIP SOME" on either side indicating the next part is after some skipped text. A fifteen minute talk later, an exasperated Stella was standing up as her mother left the room. She had to admit that her hair looked good, hanging mostly loose with a braided cord over each ear met each other the back of her head and laid back down over the rest of her loose hair.
Tokki was still wearing the coat, but the hood was down, revealing that so was her hair, in a layered effect that had her red hair framing her face and cascading down her back like silk curtains. Stella thought she may have been used a straightener, but she'd never seen Tokki's hair down, so it might just be that thick and straight. The coat was open, framing a sleeveless green dress with a choker-style collar with a wide, silver belt around her waist. The dress itself continued down to just above the ankles that were covered by high black socks. She was wearing a pair of heels, not particularly high, but definitely with a bit of elevation.
To be perfectly honest, they were teenagers that still had a lot of growing to do, both physically and emotionally. They were cute, adorable even, with a look much closer to prom than bowling night, but still perfectly reasonable first date looks. The kind of look that if someone looked at a picture would say "well, it's a good look". But Stella and Tokki were both teenagers currently in a state of heightened emotions and each building this up way past objective reality. So to each other, they were the epitome of glamour and beauty.
