We had the pleasure of meeting Susan Gorrell behind Julien Dubuque FF who was visiting the UK! We’ll be attending their next edition next year… They’re still open for submissions and it’s a real treat from what we hear! ❤️💚💙🎬🇬🇧🇺🇸 #festivalformulaontour #filmfestival #jdiff
Just saw the new documentary by Louie Psihoyos – director of The Cove, Racing Extinction, and Mission: Joy – last night at the #JDIFF. Titled Tainted Love it's about the ubiquity of plastics in our environment and their impacts on our life spans and reproduction. Riveting
If you liked True Detective you'll like #Marshland - I gave it 3 out of 4 & felt guilty after for being mean #JDIFF
And so my #JDIFF 2015 begins - 12 film marathon this year starting with #Marshland http://t.co/hUCX44R6PN
Violette was another winner - that's 9 out of 9 so far for my #JDIFF
It's my #JDIFF 9th 'Violette' of which I know nothing apart from the name - that & the audience suggests this will be my 3rd French film
While We Are the Best proved to be a super contrast of innocent rebellion that made me nostalgic for my teenage punk self #JDIFF
The Square ( Al Midan ) does a good job of telling a difficult & complex story that is hopefully far from over #JDIFF
Having a great run at #JDIFF this year, 8 out of 8 great films so far, all different to each other too
Almost lost count but my 7th #JDIFF is The Square ( Al Midan )
Photo of interview with Claire Simon after last nights screening of her film Gare du Nord at #JDIFF http://t.co/ZN646B0yos
Nordvest kept me on edge throughout in what felt like a grimly realistic portrayal of poor kids pulled deeper into violent crime #JDIFF
Gare du Nord collided with my memories of train stations across Europe although the station has changed much from how I remember #JDIFF
My 5th #JDIFF film is Gare du Nord because of a 26 year old memory of a warm August evening en route to Budapest
Los Wild Ones was a great examination of a subcultural music scene, the headbangers it involves and & the love it runs off #JDIFF
Checking out #JDIFF feed I’m annoyed by all the films I’m missing - and I’m going to 11!
Very impressed with Los Wild Things - subcultural music scenes are some of the most human spaces in the planet #JDIFF
#JDIFF Lots of good haircuts at Los Wild Ones - feeling self conscious now - think the military dude is cause El President is in attendance
#JDIFF showing of Los Wild Ones has 40% of the seating reserved for guests & some guy in military dress uniform outside #curious
#JDIFF 4th film is Los Wild Ones which I vaguely remember is something about teenage punks
Just out of Blue Ruin & not quite sure what to make of it - oddly comic in parts for such a bloodbath #JDIFF
Next #JDIFF film is Blue Ruin - I have absolutely no idea what it going to be about
Just saw #JDIFF Antarctica: A Year on Ice - gets you thinking about what it is to be human & what our conflicts are really worth
Not sure ifs crazy Sat night or Green Shoots of Recovery but 'sold out' #JDIFF A Yeas on Ice is only 2/3 full
@Marketeer83 thats what I liked about it - if I’d left 10 minutes early I’d have given it 2* rather than 4* - liked the end loading #JDIFF
#JDIFF day 2 for me starts with Antarctica: A Year on Ice whose title probably gives too much away. To be... http://fb.me/6HVOdrYUv
Stranger at the Lake failed the #Bechdel test in spectacular fashion #JDIFF ( but was great all the same )
Stranger by the Lake builds slowly but is pretty intense by the end #JDIFF #needadrink
"Just so you know this is an explicit movie" - #JDIFF are telling everyone on the way into Stranger by the Lake
