Last Friday I learned that my #JWSTCycle5 proposal was approved: 107 hours to do the first tomographic map of the IGM at the end of Reionisation - quite ambitious! 🥳
We will also collect >2000 PRISM spectra as fillers in COSMOS for legacy science. #extragalactic

Happy to report that a #JWSTCycle5 proposal I spent way too much time on (over two rounds!) because of the super clunky/inefficient/slow exposure time calculator has been accepted!
No #JWST for me this year. Down from first quintile last time to fourth this time! 🙁

The preliminary report is that #JWSTCycle5 was another record-breaker! Well done everyone 👏🔭 Can't wait to see our slate of new #MIRI programs for the new cycle (though we will have to wait until 2026 for that).
