I'm deep into my fourth #JaneSmiley #fiction book. Yeah, I'm crushing on her, but really on her authorial skills. What can't she write?

This one would be an excellent read-aloud primer for little ones. #Anthropomorphic characters are front and center and superb scenes settings all along.

My #PublicLibrary book is now three days overdue. The fact is that #JaneSmiley is a truly compelling novelist. Every character and phrase, every chapter are so skillfully wrought, each gently demanding the reader's attention and consideration. I'm nearing the end, reluctantly.
