Delicate bunches of pink flowers hang from the green bushy Pieris. It stands on patio slabs with a dry stone wall behind. Blue sky above.
The close up of those pink flowers. Look like little lanterns. Glossy green pointed leaves behind.
My favourite potted plant in the garden. It was trying to survive under tree cover so I potted it 2 years ago. It’s thanked me! Japanese Pieris . The tiny flowers are so gorgeous.

Japanese Pieris, native to China, Taiwan and Japan. Droopy little white bell shaped flowers on a long stem hanging from the tips of the branches. Nestled among dark green leaves, leathery in texture, set against a muted blue sky and trees.
Found these along a walk and thought they were very droopy, but nice looking against the blue sky and trees!
