Current obsession: Miss 'Dickie' Dickson Australian pianist, trombonist and singer who visited the UK in 1927 and played at clubs such as The Hambone in Soho. #MissDickieDickson #jazzwomen
Kate Meyrick was London's best known nightclub owner of #1920s London.
She had a club called Brett's in Charing Cross Road where an all female jazz band played.
Sadly, members of the band have not been able to be personally identified.
