So sad to hear this. I watched her pandemic briefings with Nicola Sturgeon as the UK govt was so inept. Finding out now about her public service.

So sorry to read of the death of former health minister Ms #JeaneFreeman I'll miss that burr she had in her speaking voice. She did her bit for keeping us safe in Scotland and elsewhere during #Covid19 and she didn't mess about. 💐🙏 Rest well.

#JeaneFreeman was faced with difficult decisions and more difficult decisions. #BorisJohnson said, very early on; "some of you will not make it" That proved true and some have lasting anger with a hindsight diminished by time passing. Extended version of the story on #Scotcast later on tonight.

Listening to #JeaneFreeman on #TheSundayShow on the #Covid19 response and recall the knowledge landscape that affected the government responses day by day. I remain a supporter of someone who got the public safely through a uniquely deadly #pandemic Care Home scenario exactly as I recall too.
