⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Such brilliant writing! A masterclass in how to do historical fiction. I thought I knew about the war and what happened in German but Mrs. Chiaverini taught me so much. An amazing read and top of the WW2 books I have ever read.

I'm reading the book "Canary Girls" by #JenniferChiaverini and wondering if there will be a modern equivalent of the sinking of the RMS Lusitania.

I pulled the trigger. I've been torn between "use what you have" and wanting to buy the books that accompany the Elm Creek Quilts series by #JenniferChiaverini. These books are about the quilts mentioned in her series. I'm interested to see if it is patterns or something different.
