#Vilnius was once one of the great centers of #JewishLiteratures. Tracing #Hebrew among all the #Yiddish heritage can be a challenge, but the excitement is great when one does. The highlight was a visit to the national #library where I read some of Lea Goldberg's early #poems and #translations.

The Yearbook for European Jewish Literature Studies 2024 @degruyterbrill.bsky.social is out. It was an honor to edit this issue on #translingual interrelations in #JewishLiteratures with Ido Ben-Harush and Jan Kühne. Articles are also available online, some #OpenAccess.
