No one is indispensable.
Everyone, including those in senior positions, must take responsibility for their actions & inactions.

In fact media raise legitimate public concerns only because the @churchofengland.org hasn’t dealt with them otherwise.
The concerns can always be answered/refuted, if there are good answers.
