This is indeed the chair Johnny Cash used when he recorded his video of Trent Renor's "Hurt." Cash made the song into his own. Taken in the Johnny Cash Museum, Nashville, Tennessee. We spent hours there. Patsy Kline museum is on the ground floor. Both are highly recommended.

Cash was an enthusiastic artist. The sign with this one calls it abstract expressionism, but to my eyes it definitely looks like a bird, likely an eagle. Cash was a passionate advocate for Native Americans, so this art would reflect that if I'm right. From the Johnny Cash Museum in Nashville, TN.
