This special issue will aim to explore how anti-trafficking research, policies and practices engage with and affect ‘impacted communities’—such as people with lived experience of trafficking, people targeted for exploitation, or people impacted by anti-trafficking interventions—as well as how those communities’ own approaches intermix with these, and the ways it affects those engaged.
The Anti-Trafficking Review is the first open access, peer reviewed journal, which explores the issue of human trafficking in its broader context and intersections with gender, labour, and migration.
Deadline for submissions: 1 June 2026.
Special Issue to be published in April 2027.
