Junior 2 Cup: Mossley 2XI 1 Lsnagarvey 4XI 2 Final We caught up with the Ulster Hockey Men's Junior 2 Cup Final between Mossley 2XI and Lisnagarvey 4XI at Stormont Pavilion on Saturday afternoon. The teams tested each other out at a fairly gentle pace in a scoreless first quarter played in bright sunlight. Mossley got the scoreboard ticking over with a sucessful penalty stroke from Josh Keer for a 1 - 0 lead.

Junior Cup: Dromore 16 Enniskillen 23 Final Initially it was grey and overcast, but at least the rain had stopped for the second game of the double header, on Saturday, at the Kingspan Stadium for the Junior Cup Final between Dromore and Enniskillen. A bitingly cold crosswind blew across the pitch. Eddie Keys added 2 conversions and 3 penalty goals for Enniskillen Enniskillen opened the scoring in the 7th minute, when Eddie Keys landed a penalty goal for a 3-0 lead.

Junior Cup: Rainey Endowed 2 Coleraine Grammar 0 Final We caught up with the Ulster Hockey Schoolgirls Junior Cup Final between Rainey Endowed School and Coleraine Grammar School at Stormont Pavilion on Tuesday afternoon. this was a hard fought contest between two well drilled sides. However, Rainey looked to have the upper hand early in the game with only a phenomenal work rate from Coleraine's captain Ruby Caddoo keeping them at bay.

The first half mostly consisted of Banbridge on the attack with Emma Rankin and Molly Tumilty pulling the strings. Killicomaine seemed happy to defend in numbers and look for a quick break through the centre.

Junior Cup: Sullivan Upper 0 Killicomaine Junior High 4 We caught up with the Ulster Schools Hockey Junior Cup match between Sullivan Upper and Killicomaine Junior High in Holywood on Thursday afternoon. This game was a lot closer than the scoreline suggests. Sullivan probably had the most attacks in the first half but they were unable to find their final touch in the last third. Killicomaine, on the other hand were absolute clinical in front of goal.

Junior Cup: Banbridge Academy 4 Glenlola Collegiate 0 We caught up with the Ulster Schools Hockey Junior Cup match between Banbridge Academy and Glenlola Collegiate on Thursday morning at Havelock Park. In an entertaining game Banbridge Academy took early control with a goal from Jennifer Souter after three minutes. Jennifer Souter (far left) is congratulated after opening the scoring for Banbridge The home team continued to pepper the Collegiate goal for most of the first half but some exceptional saves from Glenlola keeper Emma Creighton kept the score at 1 - 0 as the teams changed ends.

All Ireland Junior Cup: Malone 7 MU Barnhall 41 MU Barnhill came out on top in Sunday’s match up against Malone, walking away as the Energia All-Ireland Women’s Junior Cup Winners for the third year in a row. Report and images by Chrissie McKee Barnhall started the match on the front foot with Ciara Faulkner scoring the first of her three tries at the 3-minute mark with Abby Healey and Emma Brogan following to bring the score to 15 - 0 in Barnhill’s favour by the 30th minute.
