A photo of a small part of a beautiful and restored train station. That used to bring tourists (amongst other folk) to the coast, often to journey onwards across La Manche (Channel) to France. Mainly painted in creams, and featuring the soft tones of exposed brick and pavement the green is dark and rich where it coats the uprights and the platform signs. It’s a sunny spring day so light floods the scene and casts pleasing abstract and geometric shadows. A group of elegant women, one in a full length cream coat stroll the platform. To the champagne bar for brunch perhaps.
