Take home message from @jcornlab during this first joint @KeystoneSymp #KSgenome/#KScelltherapy session "Gene manipulation is action at a distance". Creating new tools is great, but we still have a lot of work to figure out what's actually going on at the molecular level.

.@BruceConklin speaking at #KSgenome - longer excisions are more efficient due to 3D DNA structure. It is weirdly easy to forget the 3D nature of DNA in some fields (except at the last @KeystoneSymp I attended, which was on #chromatin).
