An old beagle sits along the trail. His ears are faded brown, his face has faded to white. His body is varying shades of dark and light brown. He’s wearing a red harness and a red collar, with red and blue tags. The background is blurry.
He is alert, and no doubt wishes we’d be done with this photo business and resume walking and sniffing!
This was also Bernie’s first ride in the Telluride. He sat tethered in the front seat, so I could keep an eye on him. I had to pull over once, because he tried rolling in the seat and got trapped by the tether. 🙄 He was much more chill on the way home.
A chocolate tricolor beagle is lying on a blue and white blanket, on a grey car seat.
We didn’t see much in the way of spring flowers, except for a few bloodroots, but the trillium should make an appearance soon.
A bloodroot has pushed its way up through the fallen leaves, and is nearly ready to bloom. There are several more in the background.
Bernie and I went to the #KalHavenTrail today.
