This was also Bernie’s first ride in the Telluride. He sat tethered in the front seat, so I could keep an eye on him. I had to pull over once, because he tried rolling in the seat and got trapped by the tether. 🙄 He was much more chill on the way home. A chocolate tricolor beagle is lying on a blue and white blanket, on a grey car seat.
We didn’t see much in the way of spring flowers, except for a few bloodroots, but the trillium should make an appearance soon. A bloodroot has pushed its way up through the fallen leaves, and is nearly ready to bloom. There are several more in the background.
