The #Blazers honored Kimball, the self described "best bald player" in the league, by giving a free $4.00 ticket to a local patron. With an attendance of 9,394, it was unclear how many bald people showed up to win a free ticket to the game but #DonPolehn of West Linn was the winner. Polehn declined the winning ticket as his season ticket, "... was in a better spot."
Kimball wasn't needed as the #Kings great #TinyArchibald scored 39 points and passed for 11 assists to lead #KansasCity past #Portland. Forward #DonKojis came off the bench to add 21 points. Center #SamLacey added 16 points and 12 rebounds.
#SidneyWicks was the only Blazer starter to score in double-digits with a team leading 26 points. Wicks nearly had the fifth triple-double of his young career, as he grabbed 15 rebounds and passed for 9 assists. Only in his second season, Wicks has had six other games where he nearly had a triple, just missing with 9 assists in the 136 games he has played as a professional.
February 3 1973 - The @trailblazers held a "Toby Kimball Night" in honor of #KansasCityOmahaKings forward #TobyKimball.
