The Italianate-style two-story Coolidge State Bank was built in 1888 at the northeast corner of Maple and Highway 50 (Coolidge Avenue). The rectangular native stone corner building had elaborate Greek Revival ornamentation, a flat roof, and two bank vaults. The building still stands today. Photo by Kathy Alexander.
