Never guaranteed around Xmas when the trawlers are all taking a time out, there were predictably no white-wingers at #Killybegs. A lone juv #IcelandGull was at #Enniskillen dump but it evaded the camera. This mint adult #MediterraneanGull however played ball in #Donegal town.

Often quiet at #Killybegs #Donegal around Christmas when the trawlers aren't active, but the few lingerers still included a brace each of Iceland & Glaucous #Gulls today. Views weren't great off the new inaccessible quay but that trusty blue roof came good for one of them.

Lovely day #birding some regular haunts in a wintery #Donegal. Highlights were a Black-throated Diver off #Murvagh beach with 63 Greenland Whitefronts over then relocated in nearby fields. 4 Iceland Gulls at #Killybegs and an Otter at Durnesh Lake. @irishbn @BradRobson1
