65) Return of the Repressed (Jago & Litefoot 6.2)

Very weird and fucky, but I was quite into it! Some very bizarre vibes that led to a very unique story. I suspect that others won't like this as much, and to be fair, it took me a couple restarts to really understand it.

64) Betrayal at the House of Sontar (Rutans vs Sontarans 1)

The TWISTS AND TURNS in this story! Absolutely exhilarating for a story with almost no action. Just some genius writing that you can come to expect from John Dorney. I'm very interested where they're going with this arc!

63) The Skeleton Quay (Jago & Litefoot 6.1)

This story has some very beautifully vivid imagery that establishes this wonderful atmosphere around this spooky ghost town. I had a great time with this story, due to this incredible vibe. I'm interested where this arc is headed.

62) The Queen and Her Children (1001 Nights in Time and Space 10)

I did not get much out of this story. I couldn't even tell that it had anything to do with The Ark in Space until halfway through. I don't have much to say about this one; it just wasn't interesting.

61) The Henchman, the Witch and the Brain (1001 Nights in Time and Space 9)

I feel like these didn't really add much to The Brain of Morbius. There's not much in the way of interesting backstory, and the folk tale framing wasn't very interesting either. At least Condo was kinda cool.

60) Reformation (Call Me Master 2.3)

This story can only really be described as "The Master gets the Lisa McMullin treatment," which is very big praise. The setup for this story is quite interestingly, and I like what the story has to say about morality

45) A Delusion of Witches (Eleventh Doctor Adventures 1.3)

Another banger! The themes of this story work very well. The story has a lot to say about bigotry in general, but I feel like there's an easy line you can draw to transphobia specifically, which resonated with me.

44) The Tourist Trap (Eleventh Doctor Adventures 1.2)

Wow, they're really hitting the ground running with this new range. Absolutely PHENOMENAL story for a companion's first adventure. The energy was incredible, and the themes were extremely well written. Just completely excellent.

43) The Final Cut (Eleventh Doctor Adventures 1.1)

What an incredible start to this new 11DA range! Miles Taylor is incredible as the Eleventh Doctor, and his chemistry with Jasmine Bayes is great. This story has a wonderful vibe and was so captivating! Very excited for more!

42) The Ideal Quarry (Call Me Master 2.2)

A buddy-story between the Master and a Sontaran is so brilliant that I can't believe it hasn't been done before. Dan Starkey is brilliant with his Sontaran voice as always. The dialogue is just hilarious throughout.

41) Is Anybody There? (Short Trips [Audio] 14.6)

There's some fun imagery here and there throughout the story, but it never really gripped me. I lost hold of the plot about 10 minutes in, and I couldn't really follow any of it from there. I'm not sure what the problem was.

40) The Craft of Corruption (Call Me Master 2.1)

This was fun! Not super deep, and it didn't blow my mind or anything, but it was a fun time. I did really enjoy the Light Robbers, though. Pirates that steal identities are a hilarious concept.

39) The Tip of the Mind (Short Trips [Audio] 14.5)

I wasn't a big fan of the original short story, but having Lisa Bowermen narrate the main character makes it all come together. She really brings this character to life, and makes everything click. I enjoyed this so much more.

38) Bring Me the Head of Dorium Maldovar (Short Trips [Audio] 14.4)

I was surprised by just how compelling this was! Great story dealing with art theft and time travel. This works perfectly as a short story, having just enough time fuckery to be interesting while still making sense.

62) Pinocchio [English dub] (2002 nominee)

An outline of a good movie is clearly here, but boy did this dub ruin EVERYTHING. Definitely the worst dub I've ever seen. Absolutely hilariously terrible dialogue, though the hilarity loses its novelty about 25 minutes in, just becoming dull.

37) Impeccable (Short Trips [Audio] 14.1)

This is a pretty well-worn Doctor Who story archetype, but I do tend to always like it, and the Eric Roberts spin has enough to keep me engaged. Eric Roberts' Master is underrated, and I love seeing more stuff with him.

36) The Heartless Sea (Companion Chronicles 16.2)

Harry and Naomi interacting with the Second Doctor is fun, but man, this story was dull. The premise is cool enough, but the story just has no meat on its bones. Nothing to grip the listener. Couldn't get myself to care about it.

35) The Kraken of Hagwell (Companion Chronicles 16.1)

A fun little story! Having not liked Deathworld very much, it's great to get another story with the First Doctor and the Brigadier. The plot isn't much to write home about, but I liked it nonetheless.

34) Beware the City of Illusions (First Doctor Adventures 10)

I'm surprised how much I enjoyed this story! The atmosphere is incredible, largely due to the phenomenal soundtrack. It really sets the tone for the first half of the story. The second half is pretty fun, too.

33) The Violet Hour (Thirteenth Doctor Adventures 1.05)

Honestly, I never really got into this one. I feel like I missed something early on, and it just never gripped me. The stuff with the Tourist near the end was mildly interesting, at least.

32) The Imposters (Third Doctor Adventures 17)

I'm mixed on this. The vibes are great, and the jokes littered throughout are really funny! But I feel like the story starts to buckle under the weight of the many layers of its plot as early as episode three.

31) The Final Act (Jago & Litefoot 5.4)

A fun end to this series of stories in 1968! The scenes at the Palace Theatre are great, with some incredible atmosphere for the show itself. Though I have to say, this story feels a bit basic compared to the others from this set.

30) The Bloodchild Codex (Jago & Litefoot 5.3)

The atmosphere for this story is incredible. It's a very simple story, (so simple that you might call it predictable) but it's a very well executed simple story. These 1968 stories have all been bangers, so far.

29) The Case of the Gluttonous Guru (Jago & Litefoot 5.2)

This story is so much fun. There's some great character work for Jago. The imagery throughout this story is extremely vivid, and really sells what would otherwise be a completely out-there story.

28) The Age of Revolution (Jago & Litefoot 5.1)

The bizarre and uncanny first half of this story work incredibly well, being a style that Jonathan Morris absolutely excels at. Jago and Litefoot dealing with their change in time period is also incredibly well written.

27) The Robot Revolution (Novelization of TV [Modern] Series 15 Episode 1)

There's a lot I loved about this. The extra scenes with Sasha and Alan are incredible, and the final scene is much improved. It never quite clicks in the same way the episode did, but it's still great.

12) Return to Marinus (First Doctor Unbound 2)

A very interesting story. I was pretty into the first half, with the cast seeing what has changed throughout Marinus, but the second half, where the story had to stand on its own, started to lose me a bit. Still very good, though.

11) Cold Vengeance (Tenth Doctor Adventures 2.3)

The first half lost me a bit, but I was super into the second half. I really liked what this story had to say about the futility of revenge and how it consumed the villain's entire meaning of life. Great time.

60) Snow White (2025 nominee)

A mediocre first act, a mediocre third act, and a batshit insane stupid second act. Definitely a bad movie, and it's very fun to riff on, but not worthy of *seven* Razzie nominations. Rachel Zegler's performance is actually VERY good honestly.

10) Cloud Eight (Ninth Doctor Adventures 4.04)

Lauren Mooney and Stewart Pringle are AMAZING at creating these unsettling, uncanny horror scenarios. This story was absolutely gripping to listen to. This run of the Ninth Doctor Adventures has just been incredible.
