For a data geek having @rippleenergy.bsky.social great website and the live tracking it provides for #KirkHill wind farm that's right in middle of the Met Offices predicted Red Zone gives us a Window into the Wind strength and how Wind Farms adapt to gale force winds.

6:30am and we're up to 52mph.

#KirkHill wind farm, and thanks to their great online dashboard we can see how our personal power usage and their generation match up... not well :-|

Good news as it was windy they generated more than we used, with a return of £1.08.
