"After Bathing" captures not only physical grace but also the sense of intimacy and contemplation that became hallmarks of his style. Unlike more commercialized bijinga, Kitano’s figures often appear thoughtful and self-contained, suggesting inner lives beyond their outward beauty. Kitano left a profound legacy as a teacher, mentoring a generation of Kansai artists who continued to develop bijinga and nihonga traditions. His art remains celebrated for bridging Edo-period elegance with modern sensibilities, reminding us that beauty can embody both cultural continuity and subtle individual emotions.

Casi 80 años y #Kitano es capaz en poco más de una hora de dibujar una de las obras más sorprendentes y vanguardistas de su ilustre carrera. Un experimento/parodia a su doble condición de autor y comediante que, podrá gustar más o menos, pero que en algo es seguro, te vas reír como pocas veces.

Il est amusant de constater que #JoeHisaishi est toujours mis en avant pour son travail sur les films de #Miyazaki.
Pourtant, je trouve que tout ce qu'il a composé pour #Kitano a plus de caractère, est bien plus mémorable, et en somme meilleur.
